Resources / Apparatus Tab
Your apparatus should already be listed here along with it’s times. This info is passed from the CAD system but should still be reviewed for correctness. If you believe the times to be in error add a comment in your narrative and it will be investigated. If your unit shows an arrival time, then dispatch marked you on scene. You also can manually add apparatus here if you need to do so. Most of the info on this tab is automatically added except for the following fields-
This is the number of people rostered to the unit for that incident and should correspond to departmental minimum staffing standards. I.e., 4 persons on an Engine/Ladder, 1person on Command vehicle, 2 persons on a Grass rig. If it less, state why in your narrative. The names of the people rostered to a particular unit can be viewed and edited by highlighting the unit's name in the white box and then clicking on the "Personnel" sub-tab.
Select the proper action taken by your unit and the others that were on scene. List ALL (up to 4 ) of the actions the unit performed. Do not put cancelled enroute on “Actions Taken” field if there is an arrival time listed for your unit. An example of this might be that you were disregarded by AMS or APD on scene. Even though you took no actions, you still arrived and took some kind of action. In that case, use Standby or Investigate as the actions taken.
On single unit responses, these actions listed here should match those entered on the Basic/Response tab. There could be a fourth action listed here as well.
